After announcing the General Elections date in India, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will unveil the confirmed IPL Schedule 2025. The IPL chairman, Arun Singh Dhumul, said that the first match of IPL 2025 will start in March in Chennai, and the final match will be played in May (Expected). Initially, the first half of the tournament schedule will be tentative due to the Lok Sabha elections, but the second half will go according to plan. The world’s best T20 league consists of 10 IPL teams from different cities all over India. To claim an IPL trophy, 74 matches will be played between these teams in the 17th season of the IPL 2025.
The franchises were chosen players for their teams after bidding in the IPL auction 2025, which was held recently in Dubai. In the upcoming IPL 2025 event, we expect a grand opening in DY Patil Cricket Stadium in Mumbai between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

The official IPL schedule is released partially on 22 February by the BCCI due to the Lok Sabha Elections in India. The first 20 matches confirmed on the schedule are released, and the remaining schedule will be announced soon after confirming the General Elections date.
